Welcome to Sandbox!

Here at Sandbox you won't find a sterile Preschool designed for the masses, but an intimate, beautiful learning setting, inside and out! Our play yard is nestled in between mature fruit trees such as avocado, lemon, orange, banana and pomegranate. Along with a seasonal vegetable garden and a Mud Kitchen, there is nothing short of an outside play experience that is unmatched in Pacific Beach. We are a throwback to when life was more simple!

Who We Are

We are a unique center that offers a preschool program within a home-based facility.  We have a cozy, home-like atmosphere, and a Christian environment where parents can feel safe and secure that their children can play and explore in our beautiful play-yard and indoor/outdoor style classroom under the care of quality teachers.

Unlike many other child care center options, we are owner directed and operated. Our personal attention to the staff we hire, and to the students and the families that come here, prove our 17 year reputation for consistent high standards in excellent  education and care.
